Privacy Policy
This policy explains what PitLane Terminal (the desktop app, this website and its online services) collects, why, and who processes it. We don't sell your data, show ads or put third-party trackers on this site.
What we store with your account
- Sign-in details: your email, display name and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), plus an authenticator 2FA factor if you add one.
- App data that syncs: window layouts, accent colour and Course progress.
- Member chat: messages you post and images or PDFs you share, which other members can see.
- Purchases: for a Course purchase, the email used at checkout, the amount, currency, time and Stripe's payment reference. We never receive your card details.
What stays on your computer
Journal and P&L calendar entries, chart drawings, your aisstream.io key, your replay server setting and anything you sign in to inside the built-in browser (such as a prop-firm platform) are saved on your PC only. They aren't sent to us.
Technical data
Like any online service, our servers record IP addresses and basic request details to keep the service running and secure.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase: accounts, sign-in, the database and chat file storage.
- Stripe: payments for the Course, including tax handling where it applies. Stripe's own privacy policy covers the details you give it at checkout.
- DigitalOcean: hosting for this website and the Replay data server.
The app also fetches public market data directly from Yahoo Finance, Bybit and Binance, and tanker positions from aisstream.io if you add your own key. These requests contain no account information.
How we use it
To run your account, sync your settings and progress, unlock what you've bought, moderate member chat, prevent abuse and keep the service secure. We keep account data while your account exists, and purchase records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your data or to delete your account by messaging us in the app's member chat (CHAT). Deleting your account removes your Course access.
Age
PitLane Terminal is for adults. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date above.
